Affiliate Marketing

Can you make money by affiliate marketing? Yes, but it is not as easy as it seems. There are so many affilate marketers out there right now that the competition is insane.

So how do you know what items to promote and how to go about promoting them? You can go to clickbank and promote some of the many items they have listed. You can also go to some of your favorite webistes and see who offers affilate links. You would be suprised that many of your favorite websites and products will pay you to be an affiliate. Finding something to promote is easy. Deciding how to promote it is harder. I don’t recommend doing any advertising where you pay per how many times someone clicks on your ad- at least not at first. Just because somebody is clicking on your ad doesnt’ mean they will by your product. If they don’t buy, you are out money because they clicked on your ad. You can advertise by article writing, but you have to know what you are doing. Your article has to stand out from the several other articles written on the same topic.

The good news about affiliate marketing is that there are courses out there that will teach you how to be a good affiliate marketer. Wealthy Affiliate and My Online Income System are two good courses. These are not scams or get rich quick schemes, but they are courses that teach you step by step how to set yourself apart from everyone else. They teach you the importance of research and how to figure out what key words to use. A course like this is invaluable, and I strongly recommend them.

The biggest thing to remember about affiliate marketing is to be patient. Don’t expect huge success overnight. You have to keep trying until you find what works for you and then it takes time to build up a decent income.

       If you are reading this blog you are investigating working at home.    I am hear to tell you that despite all of the negative things you hear, it is possible to earn money from the comfort of your own home.   After much trial and error,  I want to share what I have learned about being a work at home mom.  

      I want to be honest with everyone and tell you that I do not know how to get rich.  What I do know how to do is find small ways to earn a half decent income.   I currently am an affiliate marketer, a myster shopper, a survey taker, a part-time merchandiser, and a court researcher.  I love what I do.  No job is too big or time consuming and I can work whenever I want.

       The most important thing to remember about working from home is to not give up.  Somewhere out there is something that will work for you.   The second most important thing is to learn all that you can.  You can never do too much research.   Last but not least,  start small.   Don’t expect to quit your job tommorrow.   It takes a while to get thing going and to get a regular income.
